Musical alchemists VELOFAX fuse elements of experimental kraut-rocking disco grooves with prog technicality. The band originates from Jersey, France and London. With the force generated by this heady geographical cocktail they are able to coax the manifestation of a parallel universe out of their instruments! Many have fallen for their sonic gymnastics, including Radio 1's Steve Lamacq, Xfm's John Kennedy, Resonance FM and London record stores Rough Trade and Sounds of the Universe. Since invading London they have gigged at the city's best venues (including Bush Hall, The Luminaire, The Barfly) and signed a record deal for their new album. Their energetic live shows and growing reputation have led to support slots with Datarock, New Young Pony Club, and Menomena. Their new album titled 'VELOFAX' is out now. |
